Heritage Garden Pottery

At William Blyth, our heritage garden pottery is shaped by the same traditions that define our roof tiles—hand-thrown with care, fired with integrity, and built to last. Crafted using our own Humber alluvial clay, each pot embodies the character and craftsmanship that has defined William Blyth pottery for generations.

Led by our skilled potter Gabriel Nichols and his team, every piece is individually made using time-honoured techniques, blending hand-throwing with pressing methods for a finish that’s both beautiful and resilient. The clay is carefully weathered and blended on-site, then fired in our historic coal-fired kilns to create a naturally rich terracotta that’s completely frost-proof.

Our collection includes a wide selection of traditional and contemporary designs, with the option to personalise for commemorative or bespoke commissions. Whether you’re enhancing a formal estate garden, designing a contemporary landscape, or simply looking for something special, William Blyth pottery brings enduring British heritage to your outdoor space.
