Each tile is handmade using traditional methods. The result is a classic roof tile range that balances heritage style with practical cost-efficiency — ideal for volume developments, restorations, and sensitive new builds.
Our Classic Range tiles embody the same aesthetic principles — subtle surface texture, tonal depth, and soft irregularities that reflect a more natural, lived-in finish.
Available in five finishes — Orange, Red, Weathered, Brown, and Antique — these classic roof tiles can be used singularly or blended to create the look and feel of a more mature or regionally accurate roofscape.
Classic Range – Orange Handmade Sanded Plain Tile
Rich orange colour tones offer a warm, regional feel reminiscent of tiles historically produced in Sussex and Kent. Often specified for vertical hanging, Orange tiles can also be mixed with others to achieve bespoke blends.
Classic Range – Red Handmade Sanded Plain Tile
A rich red-orange hue that works beautifully on properties across South East England. This popular shade adds depth and warmth and is well suited to both roof coverings and decorative tile hanging.
Classic Range – Weathered Handmade Sanded Plain Tile

*Handmade clay tiles are subject to small variations in size because of the drying and firing shrinkage within the manufacturing process. Before deciding on the batten gauge and linear coverage, the roof tiler should inspect each batch of tiles to ensure that the correct minimum head lap and side lap are achieved. Unless otherwise stated, specification and fixing guide is based on the tiles laid at minimum head lap. Tiles should be drawn from three or more packs concurrently to ensure consistency of blend.
